Cousin Sleepover

SJ and Will slept over tonight. Pat and Liz had been begging for them to sleepover. The night went well, sort of. Pat ended up in his bed and Liz threw-up all over the couch. Will and SJ were great all night!

Basketball

Patrick plays basketball on Saturdays. He loves going and playing. I haven't been able to go and watch him until now. He was so excited to have me there!

Can you tell he loves playing?? Don't you love his SU basketball sneakers?? He only wears them for hoops.

All you need is love......

When the kids came home from school they were so excited to show me all their cards and loot they had gotten from their friends at school at their Valentine's parties.
Valentine's Day is a day for extra hugs and kisses, even between brothers and sisters!
After dinner the kids waited patiently for a Valentine's treat. (Maybe we should of had them wash their faces first. Yuck!)
It was a Legos Valentine's Day! The Death Star with a fighter ship for Patrick and a Lego Friends performing stage for Elizabeth. And then quality time putting them together with Mom and Dad.
Silly #1 and Silly #2!!

Future Baller

Patrick loves his Nerf Basketball hoop. He plays by himself and he plays with day. He was practicing his dunks and thought it was the greatest thing when I offered to take pictures!
NERF DUNK!!
Eying his next shot! (God I love this kid - he is too funny!)
Don't you love the SU gear??
Here we go, night two of the dunk contest.
This is my favorite. Patrick loves basketball. He loves watching and going to SU games with Dad. He loves following the players in college and the NBA on ESPN. He's a Brian Junior!

**More basketball shots to come - Pat and I have a date over break with the camera and the hoop in the garage.

Sleep Over

Patrick slept over his buddy Gavin's house a couple of weeks ago and tonight Gavin stayed at our house.
Pat and Gavin are good buddies and play so nicely together. They stayed up late, slept downstairs on the couches and got to fall asleep watching Star Wars! They are too cute together!

Attempting Tubing

Tonight we were off to Four Seasons to participate in a fundraiser for ACR and go tubing. The fundraiser was a cardboard sled race. Uncle Bill and Uncle Wil were entering a dog sled and we were going to be part of their cheering team.
Before the races there was lots of time to practice cheering and making noise. The loudest team got a prize so good thing we brought the kids!

In addition to noise makers there were pots and pans to bang......and screaming too!
The idea was that we were going to enjoy the food and have an drink and go tubing. We went down when we first got there. Brian sent Pat in his own tub and I took Liz in tow with me. It never occurred to me to go slow by putting my foot down. We sped down the hill! I loved it, and Liz was crying and traumatized by the bottom. Pat said he liked it, but didn't want to go down again. It killed Brian and I because we love stuff like this. No matter how we pleaded, they weren't into any more tubing. After some pizza and a couple of snow angels it was time to go. Oh well, maybe next year!

A Fun Day Home

There was no school today, in observance of MLK, Jr. Day. Today it was warm enough to go out and enjoy the snow - the weekend was frigid! We blew up our new tubes and headed out.
We made a great track down Tom's hill and each kid (and mom) had a bunch a great runs! Liz made a lot of snow angels and tried to get a snow ball fight going. The snow was too fluffy for snowballs though.
Patrick started out making snowballs but ended up making some snow furniture for himself.
Liz did great outside. She can be the wimp in the bunch. Today she was in it for the long haul - despite snow in the boot and face she pressed on.
Patrick just loved his lounge chair. He kept asking me to get him snacks.
After hot cocoa and lunch the kids were playing balloon toss. I know that they have been playing volleyball in gym, so................
I set them up so they could play a little game in the living room. Patrick loved it the most and was really disappointed when Liz gave up.

Disney On Ice

For Christmas Brian and I gave Elizabeth two tickets to see Disney on Ice. We gave Sarah Jane a ticket too. Ciochi and I had a lot of fun taking the girls out for a girls night.
They loved every minute of the show. We "ate" slushies and popcorn, got cool lantern toys and danced along with the ice dancers. Elizabeth was doing her interpretive dance all over - Sarah and Ciochi thought it was great!

Merry Christmas!

Holy Cow - Santa spoiled the Louer children!!! There must have been a whole lot of niceness going on around here!!
Don't you just love the pure excitement on their faces, at 5:45 am!!
Liz got two guitars and a cool microphone. She is a self proclaimed rock star!
OMG - It is just what Patrick wanted!
And just what Liz wanted!! Now she can drive her Barbie's around in style.
It was a Star Wars Christmas! This is a remote control flying Millennium Falcon.
Awesome - a new Giants shirt! Hope they have a great season - Pat has some great victory moves when they do well.
Patrick got a few new Lego sets. He has a lot of building ahead of him.
Liz isn't quite sure about the girl Legos her brother got for her. He will have to show her how to build some cool stuff!
THE AFTERMATH!!
Patrick got a new golf bag and a driver. The Spring can't get here fast enough. Thanks Santa!
RD DLizzie!
Grandpa came over later in the morning to exchange presents and see all the loot Santa left.
Trying out Mario Cart while waiting for Mommy and Daddy to get ready to go.
Our beautiful princess :)
The very best Christmas presents I ever got!
Ready to head to Uncle Bill's house.
Patrick sporting Dad's grilling hat.

Finally! Present time (the third time!!)
Cute cousins :)

The best present of the night was definitely farting goop! Thanks Kelley and Sam!! It is pretty fun and entertaining.
Aunt Mary made Pat and Liz new mittens, always a plus around our house.
It has become a tradition to watch Christmas Vacation after dinner. The kids love it, even though it is probably inappropriate!
It is a very Merry Christmas.
