Tuesday September 9 was Patrick's first day back at school. Of course, PAL and Sissy began their day with a healthy breakfast.....Patrick would especially need a lot of energy for all that was planned at Westside.
It was a very rainy day, so there were cute posed pictures outside. Once we were in school, it was hard to get Patrick to pose for much.
Here we go, of the the Butterfly Room! Patrick is still a little hesitant about going into the Butterfly Room....can't let go of the Firefly Room. He understands that the Firefly Room is for the 2 year olds, but he REALLY loved Dorothy and Jackie. Denise and Karen have a lot of work ahead of them to live up to PAL's standards!
I played hooky so that I could take Patrick to school and pick him up. There was lots planned for him, and even though there were a few tears shed when I left, Patrick had a lot of fun playing trains, finding the dinosaurs in the sand table, having snack, reading lots of stories, and painting with brushes! The blue paint all over his face when I picked him up must be proof of three year old fun at school.
