Walking With Dinosaurs

Tonight we surprised Patrick with a trip to see "Walking With Dinosaurs", an arena show that was playing at the Blue Cross Arena all weekend. Brian and I managed to keep the secret all week - very hard - with intentions of not telling him until it started. We caved in the car.Excited Patman waiting for the show to start. We had awesome seats.....three rows up from where the dinosaurs were walking around!
Pat and Daddy agree at intermission that this is incredible!!
I tried to take a lot of pictures. They ask you not to, so I had to be sneaky. It was awfully dark, so many didn't come out. I am not so great with the slower shutter speeds.....shaky hands make for blurry pictures. Here's the stegauarus peeking through some of the vegetation from the Jurassic period.
There were two brachisaurus's in the show. The biggest was 72 feet long. He just cleared the speakers at the arena's ceiling!
A flying dino!
And our favorite - he closed the show - T-Rex. I thought Pat was going to jump right out of his chair with excitement when this pair appeared.
It was a great night. We highly recommend the show!
