Westside Picnic

Patrick's last day of this school year was Tuesday and today was the fun and famous Westside Picnic. The kids had a blast playing in the new playground and with all the other neat things they had outside. Patrick spent a ton of time on the rope swing and in the giant sand pit.
Elizabeth loves to dig....in the sand table, the mulch table, the water, or the giant sand pit. If it is dirty, she is there!
Here is Elizabeth being territorial with a sand castle.....older kids actually made it and Elizabeth scared them, well probably annoyed them, off. Then she took over, refused to let others play with it, and destroyed it. It is these moments that I think about the trouble I am predicting will come from her.....oh do I dread the teen years.
We also enjoyed a great lunch, complete with Cheetos, on the hill. It was great to get to play with Aunt Heather and Leah today. Next year Pat will be in the Dragonfly room, Leah will be in the Butterfly room and Elizabeth will be in the Firefly room. How cute!
