P-Town
After the ocean we continued up Route 6 to Provincetown. It was great to walk around the eclectic town and see all the sites and shops......The highlights were "Cock and Balls Leathershop" and the 80 year old drag queen lipsynching on the corner. Oh, and it was Bear Week........so Brian fit right in :)
My Louer Loves.
On the way out of town we stopped to play in the wide pools left by low tide. We were disappointed that there weren't more critters running around but had fun walking way out on the sand.
The kids thought it was cool that there was a boat beached by the low tide.
And Lizzie loved running around the sand flats.
Daddy left me a nice note as I was walking back to the car :)
We stopped at a lobster shack called the Friendly Fisherman for dinner because when in lobster town mom and dad have to eat it every chance they get. They had a playground there to entertain the kids while they waited for dinner. GENIUS!
Dinner was great. Mom and Dad could have had three more lobster rolls......we didn't. We meandered back to the hotel to get a good nights sleep before our drive back to reality. It was a FANTASTIC spur of the moment trip.
